Summary

Summary: A member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family of peptide growth factors that is synthesized as a transmembrane protein which can be cleaved to release a soluble active form. Epiregulin has specificity for the EGF RECEPTOR and the ERBB-4 RECEPTOR.
