Pathologist with 12 years experience in anatomical pathology and 5 years experience in redesigning and expanding an existing investigative histopathology lab dedicated to translational research, biomarker discovery and biobanking.

Extensive experience of designing, validating and implementing investigative and translational pathology studies in a variety of translational research areas (tumor biomarker discovery and validation, decipehring molecular signature of tumors to highlight any ethnic differences if any, and genetic studies).
Detailed knowledge in molecular techniques applied to histology: experience in immunohistochemistry, CISH and FISH. Well versed in the operation of imaging facilities and methods applied to pathology using digital slide scanner and computer-assisted image analysis (Iscan and Tissue Mine from Bioimagene).
