I am a researcher in the field of behavioral neuroscience from USA. I was born in the coastal village of south India called Uvari, and currently working at National Institutes of Health (NIH).
I am interested to seek new horizons in the field of learning and memory. My current priorities are moving towards exploring the motivational neurocircuitry and their role in orchestrating the pleasure seeking and pain avoidance.
Currently I am employing optogenetic techniques to understand the reinforcing effect of manipulations applied to dopaminergic neurons.
