Dr Ehimario U. Igumbor (MPH, PhD) is Senior Lecturer in Public Health Epidemiology and Health Information Systems in the School of Public Health, University of the Western Cape (UWC), South Africa. His research interests include eco-social determinants of chronic diseases, burden of disease analyses, routine large scale surveys and health sciences teaching/learning. He joined the UWC School of Public Health in January 2007 after teaching for three years in the Walter Sisulu University Medical School (erstwhile, University of Transkei).
