Summary:
I am researcher working on Polycomb group (PcG) and trithorax group (trxG) proteins, and using Drosophila as a model system. I am studying the role of these chromatin factors in gene regulation and nuclear organization during development. For this, I am using molecular approaches such as Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and Chromosome Conformation Capture (3C), as well as cytological approaches such as DNA Fluorescent in situ Hybridization (DNA-FISH) coupled with immunostaining and genetics in Drosophila.
