Summary:
Biologist (Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2005), M.Sc. in Ecology and Biomonitoring (Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2008) and PhD in Ecology and Evolution (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, 2014), with an exchange of five months at the University of Essex, England. My research focuses on community ecology and my main study model are the coral reefs. I have been developing work in conservation ecology (MSc) and in theoretical and practice ecology (doctoral). Currently, my main interest are the phenomena of drastic change in the community (phase shift), which I have been studying with manipulative experiments and complemented with monitoring data.
